Knee arthroscopy can be very effective for meniscal tears and ligament injuries in particular.  Less so for degenerative arthritis.  Dr. Murphy specializes in hip reconstruction and preservation and knee reconstruction.  He does perform knee arthroscopy but will refer you to the appropriate surgeon as necessary.
